The Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from tomorrow, October 14, at 6:00 p.m., the photographic exhibition 'Monday, colors and materials' by Belgian photographer Pol Laris.

The exhibition consists of a total of 27 close-up photographs, framed in a series entitled 'Nature a little closer', and can be visited until October 28 from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. , and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, with free access.

Jean Jacques Charles Pol Laris (Belgium, 1948). After studying electronics, he returned to Belgian National Radio Television as a cameraman. In addition to practicing his profession, he publishes articles in two gardening and small livestock magazines and, in order to illustrate his articles, he begins to draw in black and white.

It also produces cinema (cartoons and documentaries). Since 1990 he has also made drawings of artistic nudes, comics and, of course, still photography on flora and fauna. Then he turned to color in drawing and painting.

Since 2001 he has shared his life between Andalusia and Morocco. Therefore, it is in Estepona where he will delve into the study of the influence of lights on the colors of materials; particularly, in this series 'Nature a little closer'. These are close-ups (and very close-ups) where the gaze is lost in amazement.

He has always refused to exhibit his work (drawings, paintings and photographs) on the pretext that they are never finished. Therefore, it is the first time that this exhibition accepts to show 27 photographs of this series.
