Monologue "the humor of my life" by paz padilla

The Felipe VI Auditorium will host next week 'The humor of my life' by Paz Padilla

The popular actress and comedian from Cádiz will perform her autobiographical monologue on May 27, 28 and 29.

The Estepona City Council informs that the popular comedian and actress from Cádiz, Paz Padilla, will present her latest theatrical show 'El humor de mi vida' at the Felipe VI Auditorium next week.

Spectators will be able to attend this autobiographical monologue, based on the homonymous book written by Paz Padilla, on May 27 and 28, at 7:30 p.m., and on May 29, at 7:00 p.m.

The play tells her unique love story and the personal work she has done to accept the loss of Antonio, the love of her life.

“We belong to a society that lives with its back to death out of sheer terror. We flee from reflecting or even talking about it and we systematically deny its existence in case, in this way, we somehow manage to avoid it forever,” says Padilla.

Paz met the love of her life at the age of fourteen. He shared with him love, learning, pain and laughter. When the time came to say goodbye, he had to decide how to deal with it. That decision marked his life forever. 'The humor of my life' is a journey between love and death, where you learn to live well and die well. A path full of discoveries, mistakes, sorrow and humor, a lot of humor. Life is full of all that. Why stay only with the sad?
