The opening of the exhibition, which consists of 24 medium-sized oil paintings on canvas made in the last three years, will take place at 6:00 p.m. and will be entitled 'Marvelous Realism'.

Elena Done (Lena) (Russia, 1973), is a full-time artist who has established her residence in Estepona and has participated in other exhibitions on the Costa del Sol.

Graduated from the Academy of Art, she has received a classical training, with deep studies of anatomy. In his oil paintings, the viewer should notice specific techniques through the many layers. She paints with thick and pasty strokes, to make a deeper painting of up to 7 layers, with the purpose of giving depth.

This depth creates a unique personality and the aura of a living being. This also means that every time you look at Lena's painting, you see something else: flashes of light and color, which she tries to create.

"I was always fascinated by Picasso's artworks: he created life and depth in his paintings, he created a powerful impact, he created totally different emotions in the viewer's soul with different people," says the artist.
