Elaine Moore was born in Scotland. He studied in London and Loughborough, at the College of Art and Design. Although she was trained in the design and manufacture of gold and silver jewelry, she was always more interested in drawing and painting.

In 1978 she came to Spain, where she continued her work in gold, although the inspiration of light and shadows led her to paint in oil.

His first exhibition was in Estepona, in 1986, at the Casa de las Tejerinas, where he also exhibited on three more occasions in successive years. Until 2014 he has exhibited his work on twenty occasions, both in galleries in England and Spain, among other places, in the Modern British and Irish Art, in New Cavendish St. London or in the International Art Fair of Marbella and Puerto Banus.

For the last few years, Elaine has been working on private commissions and exhibiting in various private galleries in both countries, including places like Marbella, Ronda, where she currently resides, or Estepona. His work also appears in private collections in the United Kingdom and Spain.
