Ict cyber training
The City Council offers an introductory workshop on new technologies to reduce the digital divide
It is free, will have six sessions that will take place during the month of October and will be taught by the Fundación Cibervoluntarios.
The Estepona City Council informs that during the month of October the ICT Cyber-training workshop will be held at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center with the aim of offering citizens training in new technologies. In this way, it contributes to reducing the digital gap in the municipality.
It is aimed at people who lack knowledge in this matter, since it is an initiation level. It is free of charge and those interested in registering must do so in person at the Municipal Information Center for Women, by calling 952804704 and by email at equality@estepona.es.
The classes will be taught in the computer room of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the sessions are as follows:
Monday, October 10: Introduction to the Internet (basic use of the smartphone and computer).
Thursday, October 13: Organization and management tools (email, calendar).
Monday, October 17: Electronic administration (digital certificate, electronic signature).
Wednesday, October 19: Job Search.
Monday, October 24: Safe Internet.
Wednesday, October 26: Video calls (Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp).
This training action has the support of the Estepona City Council, the Ministry of Equality, Social Policies and Conciliation of the Junta de Andalucía and the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030.
