Paco candela concert
The Estepona City Council informs that the singer Paco Candela will offer a concert in the Plaza de Toros, next Sunday, September 3, at 9:30 p.m., as part of the 2023 'Paseo por lo eterno' Tour.
After his double nomination for the Odeón Music Awards (Best Flamenco Artist and Best Flamenco Album), as well as the Latin Grammys (Best Flamenco Music Album), the performer from Mairen presents his latest work 'Paseo por lo eterno' in Estepona ; an album in which he covers songs that the artist has heard since he was young. A tribute and a review of those "eternal" songs that great artists have performed, such as Alameda, Junco, Rocío Jurado, Los Chichos, Triana, Raphael or Pepe Pinto, among others... It is a small "gift" for all " candelistas”, as his fans call themselves, a crowd that grows every day, largely after attending his concerts and discovering his closeness and his great voice.
Paco Candela (Mairena del Aljarafe, 1971) began in the world of music when he was only 7 years old, when he began his first cantes. After spending a few years as a soloist in the Grupo de Danza de San Ildefonso in his hometown, he introduced himself to Flamenco, participating in his first contests and exchanges with clubs. From this moment they began their first concerts in many fairs and private parties. It was the beginning of an incipient career that promised to be unstoppable, and it was like that over the years, always linked to flamenco.
After 15 albums, numerous awards and recognitions, and having become one of the national and international reference voices in flamenco music, Paco Candela begins a tour surrounded by an excellent cast of musicians and technicians. Each performance of the “Paseo por lo eterno” tour becomes a night that the public cannot forget, pure emotion and pure feeling.
