'farándula' theater re-runs the comedy 'locas'
The Municipal Theatre Group 'Farándula' revives the comedy 'Locas' to benefit Caritas of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish in Estepona
The performance, starring Isa Cintrano and Asunción Rivera, will take place on Friday 20th at 8:30 p.m.,
Estepona Town Hall informs that the Municipal Theatre Group 'Farándula' will perform the comedy 'Locas', by José Pascual Abellán, on Friday 20 September, to benefit the Caritas of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish. It will take place at the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre at 8:30 p.m.
'Locas' is a reflection on mental illness, its impact on those who suffer from it and society's view of it. It stars Isa Cintrano and Asunción Rivera, under the direction of Luque, and Maribel Aragón as assistant director.
“Both protagonists embody likeable characters who become lovable as the action progresses. Gregoria and Martirio meet in the psychiatrist's waiting room, each with her own reality, each with her own way of dealing with it, and both with their desire to be accepted.”
Tickets cost 5 euros and can be purchased at the box office from one hour before the performance. As with previous successful performances, the play will have a charitable purpose. On this occasion, the money raised will go to the Diocesan Caritas of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish.
