Francisco J. Antolín returns to the Casa de Las Tejerinas with new sculptures and other art
The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited from October 24 to November 21
Estepona Town Hall announces that the Madrid artist based in Algeciras, Francisco Javier Antolín, will present a new exhibition of sculptures and other arts in Room 1 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 24 October to 21 November, from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission.
Francisco Javier Antolín Serrano was born in Madrid in 1971 and lives in Algeciras. He is a sculptor, draughtsman and painter, and has a degree in Fine Arts. He studied at the universities of Granada, Salamanca and Toulouse. With more than 30 years of artistic and teaching experience, he has carried out numerous individual and collective exhibitions, and has participated in different artistic projects.
The exhibitions closest in time have been two complex projects: 'The Transformist's Workshop' and 'Camille's Corner', presented at the Castle of Tarifa (2020), at the Cruz Herrera Museum in La Línea de la Concepción (2021), and at the CajaSur Room in Algeciras.
At a collective level, he has participated in the 'Caprichos' exhibition, at the Botanical Garden of Malaga, and in the 'Witty Project' exhibition at the Caja Blanca in Malaga in 2022 and 2023.
Last spring, the art exhibition 'Los sueños de Nefertiti' opened in Estepona. It consists mainly of sculptures, as well as drawings and paintings, inspired by the queen of the 18th dynasty of Egypt.
