The Councillor for Youth has pointed out that young people are a priority for the City Council and that the intention is not only to promote leisure or fun, but also training and relationships between young people to participate together in activities and create spaces for socialisation and personal growth. In this regard, workshops and talks on public speaking and psychology have been planned.
The councillor has announced that one of the first events will be held this Thursday, 30 January, with the 2nd Málaga Young Entrepreneurs Conference, for which the presence of some 600 students from the town of Vocational Training and Secondary Education has already been confirmed. This meeting, which will be held in the Felipe VI auditorium, will feature the participation of important figures from the business world such as Google Safety Engineering Center, Freepik or Harper&Neyer and aims to offer a space for learning and collaboration between young people who want to start their own business, experts and companies.
Next weekend, February 1 and 2, the 9th Manga, Video Games and Alternative Culture Fair, EsteponGO!, will be held at the Exhibition and Congress Palace, organized by the NGO Infancia Solidaria and Eventos GO!, in collaboration with the Estepona City Council. This is an event that is now ten years old in the city and has become a must-see for thousands of young people. During these two days, attendees will be able to enjoy more than 160 activities, including a conference by the voice actor Pablo Dominguez, voice of Goku from Dragon Ball in Spain and one of the most renowned voice actors in Andalusia, or the well-known Youtubers and tik tokers Los Cazajuguetes and Ligimo y Eliana, among others.
The Youth Year programme is rounded off with sporting activities such as hiking trails, a volleyball tournament or the provincial orienteering circuit, a tattoo parlour, board game and video game sessions, a manga room, a mobile photography contest or a digital camp, among others.
