More than five hundred dancers from all over Spain will meet at the Felipe VI Auditorium in a national UNIT Dance competition
The competition, which will take place on Saturday, February 8, will bring together dancers from academies from all over the country and will be a qualifier for the final that will take place in Germany.
Estepona Town Hall informs that the Felipe VI Auditorium will host the UNIT Spanish Dance Championship on Saturday 8 February, in which more than five hundred dancers of all ages, from six years old, from academies from all over the country will participate.
This is the first time that Estepona has hosted a dance competition of this calibre, an event that will be hosted by the local Martina Tessaro Dance School, whose students will also take part in the competition.
The aim of this competition is to promote dance among children and adolescents and to show them the possibilities it offers for developing a professional career or simply for practicing it as amateurs.
The Championship, which will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., includes competitions in different disciplines such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Show Dance, Contemporary, Acrobatics and Folklore, among others, in both amateur and professional categories.
Those dancers who qualify in this national semi-final will represent Spain in the European final, which will be held in Germany from April 30 to May 3.
The event will be open to the public and includes two master classes during the breaks. Tickets can be purchased at the box office from one hour before the event: 20 euros for adults and 15 euros for children under 11 years old.
