Anderson cave exhibition
Estepona Town Hall informs that Room 1 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in Plaza de las Flores, will host from next Thursday, February 20, a painting exhibition by the Peruvian artist based in the city, Anderson Cueva.
The painting exhibition is made up of a selection of ten of his best works, oil paintings on canvas. The opening will take place on Thursday 20th at 18:00. It can be visited until March 5th, from Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00; and Saturdays, from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. Admission is free.
Anderson Cueva is an international artist. He was born in Lima (Peru) on August 19, 1974, and grew up in the Año Nuevo district. The second of four siblings, he began painting and drawing from childhood. In 1987 he won his first award related to painting. His artworks were sold to galleries and shops in Miraflores.
In his youth he worked in different jobs without neglecting the art of painting and his other passion: water sports.
After two years in Bolivia he returned to Peru in 2008, and in 2011 he moved to Argentina, where he remained until 2014. He currently resides in Estepona.
His artistic creations have been exhibited on several occasions, and his work has been recognized with various awards for its notable contribution to the visual arts.
