The Friends of the Passion Association will perform "The Passion, According to Estepona" through the streets of the old town.
The reenactment of the Passion of Christ will take place on Saturday, April 19. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Plaza San Francisco and end at the Botanical Orchid Park.
Estepona City Council announces that the Friends of the Passion Association will perform The Passion of Christ next Saturday, April 19, under the direction of Luque, with Miguel López Ramírez and Miguel Ángel López as assistant directors.
Around 100 amateur actors and technicians participate in this reenactment of the Passion of Christ, which has been performed in the streets of the town's old town since 2014.
The performance will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Plaza San Francisco, next to the Church of Los Remedios, with a reenactment of the Last Supper. It will continue along Blas Ortega Street until it concludes at around 8:00 p.m. in the Parque Botánico Orquidario with the Crucifixion.
The itinerary is as follows: Plaza San Francisco (Last Supper), C/ Blas Ortega, Plaza Manuel Alcántara (Prayer in the Garden), C/ Caravaca, Plaza del Reloj (Caiafas Palace), Plaza Blas Infante, C/ Viento, C/ Castillo (Pilates Palace and Herod's Palace), C/ Santa Ana, C/ Real (First Fall), C/ Terraza (Second and Third Falls) and Botanical Orchid Park (Crucifixion).
