Estepona City Council announces that the book launch of "Sedrúa" (Drought) by Malaga-born illustrator and visual artist Jesús Román will take place next Friday, May 23rd, at 6:00 p.m. in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Room at Casa de Las Tejerinas.
'Drought' is a work that, through a visually rich and emotionally profound story, explores the metaphor of water as a symbol of love and the essence of life. In a distant, dystopian future, on our own planet, the characters discover that the seawater is slowly disappearing, leading them to confront what truly matters in their lives.
This book is an introspective journey that, while less childlike than the author's previous works, remains accessible to readers of all ages. Drought invites us to reflect on the fragility of our environment and our relationships through an immersive narrative and illustrations that complement and enrich the story.
Free access until capacity is reached.
