Film club french film "making of"
The Cine-Club will screen the French film 'Making of' at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.

Estepona City Council announces that the Culture Department's Film Club will continue its spring series next Thursday, May 22, with a screening of the 2023 film "Making of," by director Cédric Kahn, about "cinema within cinema," starring Danis Podalydès, Jonathan Cohe, Stefan Crepon, and Souheila Yacoub, among others.
Due to its length, the screening will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. The film's original French version with Spanish subtitles will be free until capacity is reached. The Alliance Française of Málaga is collaborating.
Synopsis: Simon, a well-known French filmmaker, begins shooting his next film. A story about workers fighting to protect their factory from relocation. But nothing goes as planned... His producer, Viviane, wants to rewrite the ending and threatens to cut the budget; his own crew goes on strike; his personal life is in chaos; and to top it all off, his lead actor, Alain, is a self-centered jerk. Joseph, an extra hoping to break into the film industry, agrees to direct the shoot and film the making-of. He takes his role very seriously and starts following the crew around, capturing the whole mess...
