Coco dave's "faceless" open-air exhibition
Estepona will host an open-air exhibition by renowned illustrator Coco Dávez.
The works depict some of the icons of the 20th century, such as Picasso, David Bowie, and Camarón, without showing their faces. They are part of the "Faceless" project, which has already toured cities such as London and Hong Kong.
The exhibition will open on June 27, and the artist will be accompanied by fashion designer Palomo Spain, art gallery owner Topacio Fresh, and singer Soleá Morente, who will perform a concert.
Estepona City Council announces that illustrator Coco Dávez will present her exhibition "Faceless" in the city on June 27th. The exhibition will feature 17 works, including paintings created exclusively for the Estepona exhibition. This project by Coco Dávez stands out for its use of color and shapes to capture the essence of each character. It is a collection of portraits in which faces are not visible, but the figures of the characters are perfectly recognizable. In this way, various iconic figures of the 20th century are represented, such as Pablo Picasso, David Bowie, and Chiquito de la Calzada, among others.
The exhibition, which includes works created exclusively for this occasion, will be on display outdoors, specifically on Terraza Street, and can be visited from June 27 to September 15. With this exhibition, Estepona joins cities like London and Hong Kong, which have previously hosted the Faceless project.
Coco Dávez will be joined at the opening of her exhibition next Friday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m. by Cordoba-born designer Palomo Spain, art gallery owner Topacio Fresh, and singer Soleá Morente, who will later (at 11:00 p.m.) offer an open-air concert next to the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center.

Valeria Palmeiro, known as Coco Dávez, is a Madrid-based artist who has developed her career in various fields: painting, photography, and art direction.
Her colorful universe has led her to collaborate with major brands such as Shiseido, Netflix, Dior, and Prada, among others.
His works have been exhibited in cities such as London, Hong Kong, Paris, Miami, Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid and Santiago de Chile.
Forbes magazine has chosen her on several occasions as a reference in the art world.
