
Art and sculpture exhibition "camille's corner" by francisco javier antolin
The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an art and sculpture exhibition by the artist Francisco Javier Antolín, inspired by the work of French artist Camille Claudel, muse of Auguste Rodin.
The exhibition 'Camille's Corner' can be visited from June 26 to July 9, with free admission.
Estepona City Council announces that Room 1 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in Plaza de las Flores, will host the art and sculpture exhibition "Camille's Corner" by artist F. Javier Antolín starting June 26th.
The painting exhibition, inspired by the work of French artist Camille Claudel, muse of Auguste Rodin, can be visited until July 9, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission.
Francisco Javier Antolín Serrano was born in Madrid in 1971 and lives in Algeciras. A sculptor, draftsman, and painter, he holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, specializing in Sculpture. He completed his training with an Erasmus scholarship at the School of Fine Arts in Toulouse, France, and completed the CAP (Pedagogical Aptitude Course). 1994/95.
During more than 30 years of artistic and teaching career, she has held numerous solo and group exhibitions and participated in various artistic projects. Among her most recent exhibitions are the sculpture exhibition in the Saccone Gardens of the Cruz Herrera Museum in La Línea de la Concepción last summer, and the group exhibition at the 12th edition of "Caprichos" at the La Concepción Botanical Garden in Málaga, among others. Last year, she also presented the exhibition inspired by the queen of ancient Egypt, "The Dreams of Nefertiti," at the Casa de las Tejerinas in Estepona.
In previous years, with less assiduity, he has held both solo and group exhibitions, primarily of paintings, although with the presence of some sculptural pieces.
