
Registration for culture courses and workshops 2025-2026
The City Council opens the registration period for the 2025/2026 Culture courses and workshops.
Registration will be open from September 10 to 19, and classes, which are offered quarterly, will begin on October 6 and end in June 2026.
Estepona, September 1, 2025. Registration will open for the 2025/2026 Cultural Courses and Workshops, offering a wide variety of subjects for all ages. The registration period will remain open until September 19, and classes will begin on Monday, October 6, 2025, and end at the end of June 2026.
Registration can be done in person at the Town Hall, from September 10th to 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., by appointment, or online at cursoscultura@estepona.es. Late registrations will not be valid.
The Councilor for Culture, Macarena Diánez, highlighted the assistance the City Council offers to the most vulnerable groups registered in Estepona, with a 50% reduction in course fees.
Students who can prove they have a disability of 33% or more, students enrolled at the Estepona Adult Education Center, music theory students enrolled in piano lessons, youth correspondents accredited by the municipal youth department, and students who are part of a large family unit will also benefit from this 50% discount.
Additionally, Municipal Band workshop students who practice with the same band will receive a 100% discount, and those enrolled in more than one course from the Municipal Culture Department will receive a 25% discount.
All scheduled courses and workshops must be paid quarterly in advance, after registration. Discounts are non-cumulative. Students who applied for discounts last year will not need to apply this quarter.
The Culture Department's courses and workshops to be offered this year, 2025-2026, are as follows:
Artistic Area. Theater, with Juan Jesús Luque.
Dance Department. Ballroom Dancing (Latin Rhythms, Sevillanas, and Bridal Choreography) with Mariví Rodríguez; Classical-Flamenco Dance with Eva Alarcón; Flamenco, Classical Dance, Spanish Dance, and Castanets (beginners) with Lourdes Barrientos.
Crafts Area. Drawing and Painting, with Rocío Garín, and Bobbin Lacemaking with Inmaculada Chacón.
Language Department. English, with Juan Sergio Picardo.
Music Department. Flamenco Guitar, with Paco Javier Jimeno; Percussion, with Chico Fargas; Music Theory and Piano, with Joaquín Castellanos; and Music and Instrumental Training Workshop for Bands, with José Antonio López Camacho.
Courses in Cancelada. Belly and Latin dance with Paulina Partal; Bobbin lace with Inmaculada Chacón; Crafts, pattern making, and creative sewing with M.ª Eugenia Espinosa.
