Estepona City Council announces that the new edition of "La Noche en Blanco," to be held this Saturday, September 6, will be dedicated to young people, in celebration of the Year of Youth.
The Councilor for Culture and Festivals, Macarena Diánez, explained that urban artists Óscar El Ruso and El Jhota will be the headliners of the free concert, which will take place on La Rada beach, starting at 9:00 p.m.
Óscar El Ruso, born in Málaga in 2004, is an urban music singer and songwriter. His song "Japoni" has over 33 million views, and tracks like "Whisky," "Solamente tú," and "Kylie" have accumulated over 40 million views. The virality of his songs like "Mi Cachuli" have made him one of the most promising urban artists.
El Jhota is a Madrid-based artist who began his musical career at the age of 15, when the first reggaeton albums began arriving in Spain. At 20, he began to stand out on the national reggaeton scene, garnering millions of streams for his first songs. His music is influenced by old-school reggaeton, R&B, trap, and flamenco, and he has achieved major hits like "Casa de Papel."
The beach performance will be completed by artist DJ Monchi.
Furthermore, all museums in the city will be open free of charge to the public from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. This open day will be held at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center, where the sculpture exhibition "Quiñones: Al Origen" by Juan Miguel Quiñones is on display. In addition, the painting exhibitions by Ana María Luque and Paloma Ripollés will be open at the Casa de Las Tejerinas and at the San Luis Castle. The Corominas Dolmen Interpretation Center will also be open during these extended hours. Those interested in visiting the Corominas facilities should make an appointment by calling 626912311.
White Night 2025 will also offer other free cultural and leisure activities. The Padre Manuel Cultural Center will host an FC25 Tournament on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Football and video game enthusiasts will have the opportunity to show off their skills on the virtual pitch and compete for a PlayStation PS5 Digital Edition console in this tournament aimed at young people aged 12 to 35, organized by the Unicorn Cultural Association and sponsored by Estepona City Council.
The municipal head of Culture and Festivals encourages all citizens to participate in all the free activities this Saturday. "Estepona has valuable exhibition and heritage spaces, so this weekend we'll have the opportunity to enjoy them at night. It's sure to be a very interesting experience for those who come," emphasized Diánez.
