The Estepona City Council announces that the city will host the "Awareness and Commitment Against Trafficking" event on November 14th at the Mirador del Carmen building. This free event, open to the public, aims to raise awareness, highlight, and promote social commitment to combating human trafficking for sexual exploitation, a problem that also affects the local area.
The event is aimed at professionals in the educational, social, healthcare, legal, business, and law enforcement sectors, as well as the general public. Throughout the morning, key issues will be addressed, such as raising awareness about the reality of human trafficking for sexual exploitation on the Costa del Sol, the structural causes of trafficking, its link to the consumption of prostitution and pornography, and the role that institutions, businesses, and civil society must play in its eradication.
The meeting will be held on November 14th from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Mirador del Carmen in Estepona.

This event is organized by the Child Heroes Foundation, the Center for the Common Good of the Francisco de Vitoria University, the Rotary Club of Puerto Banús and the Occidental Puerto Banús Hotel of Barceló Hotel Group, with the collaboration of the Estepona City Council.
