CARMEN VIEWPOINT

Quarterly programming library of contemporary cultures

The Estepona City Council has presented the cultural program that the Library of Contemporary Cultures, located in the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center, will offer during the first quarter of 2026. Consolidated cultural space

Since its inauguration in November 2024, the Library of Contemporary Cultures has established itself as one of the most innovative cultural projects in the province. In less than a year, it has attracted thousands of visitors, hosted leading figures in literature, film, music, and art, and developed a program that promotes critical thinking, interdisciplinary creation, and free access to culture.

With an open eye to the future, the Estepona City Council is already preparing new programs, an ambitious children's agenda and the next edition of the Estepona Literary Festival (FLEST), which will once again turn the city into a cultural meeting point.
