The writer Bárbara Arena will present her book 'Un adiós' at the Library of Contemporary Cultures

The literary event will take place on March 18th, and the day before, the author will lead the creative writing workshop 'Getting out of lethargy, setting the plot in motion'.

The Estepona City Council informs that the writer Bárbara Arena will present her book 'Un adiós' on March 18 at 8 p.m. in the Library of Contemporary Cultures.

During the presentation of her first novel, Bárbara Arena will share with the attendees the key aspects of the work, her creative process, and will engage in dialogue with the public in an intimate encounter focused on literature.

As a prelude to this event, on March 17th at 8 pm, the author will lead the creative writing workshop "Breaking Out of Lethargy, Activating the Plot," aimed at those interested in developing their narrative projects. The workshop will cover tools to unlock the creative process, activate dramatic conflicts, and strengthen the internal structure of stories, inviting participants to explore new perspectives and expressive resources.

Bárbara Arena was born in Madrid in 1988 and has built her career in communications, working for various agencies and currently as a freelancer. She rose to fame on social media and currently writes about popular culture for Vogue. With 'Un adiós' (A Goodbye), Arena makes her literary debut with a love story, the tale of a family marked by a tragic event that shatters their destiny, and a story set against the backdrop of Spain's oldest and most powerful past.

Attendance at the presentation is free until capacity is reached. To participate in the creative writing workshop, prior registration is required via email to the Library of Contemporary Cultures at bcc@estepona.es.

With this initiative, the City Council continues to strengthen the municipality's cultural program and offer quality literary proposals in a space that is a reference point for culture and contemporary thought.
