Benefit concert by "love to sing"
The 'Love to Sing' International Choir will offer a benefit concert for the AECC - Estepona at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center
The charity event will take place on Friday, June 19th, at 7:30 pm.
The Estepona City Council informs that next Friday, June 19, a concert by the International Choir 'Love To Sing' will take place at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center, to benefit the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Estepona.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is presented in collaboration with the Estepona City Council and the Conservatory of Music. The evening will feature a repertoire of popular songs, under the musical direction of Shirley Helleur.
Tickets will cost 10 euros and can be purchased at the box office, starting one hour before the performance begins.
Since its formation in September 2017, the 'Love to Sing' Choir has been offering concerts to the community in the local area, helping to raise awareness and funds to help some long-established charities in the area, such as ADANA, St George's, Somos tu Ola, the AECC and AGYA, Asociación Gatos y Amigos, among other local associations.
Currently, the group has over 45 members from various countries who rehearse weekly, though it is always open to incorporating new, experienced singers. Its repertoire includes popular songs, ranging from classical music to pop, rock, and musical theater.
