The actor, comedian and presenter will review numerous current affairs and topics next Saturday, June 20, at 9:00 p.m.

The Estepona City Council informs that the actor, comedian and presenter Goyo Jiménez will present his show 'Misery Class' next Saturday, June 20, at 9:00 p.m., at the Felipe VI Auditorium Theatre.

Synopsis: How could we possibly summarize a show like Misery Class? And what's more complicated... how could we do it in fewer than 350 words considering, on the one hand, the wide range of current issues and topics covered in this show and, on the other, Goyo Jiménez's psychotic tendency to ramble?

Well… To begin with, we could avoid using the plural "could," considering this synopsis is being written by a single person. That is, me. In other words, Goyo Jiménez. Yes, the same person you just described as having a "psychotic tendency to ramble" and who, therefore, is reading what you write, pal. But, look, maybe you've hit the nail on the head, and that's what we should really highlight when summarizing 'Misery Class'.

We could say that this new show by Goyo Jiménez stems from his worldview as a person, not as a character. Because yes, friends: Dazzled by the immense artist and creator we all enjoy to the point of ecstasy, blinded by the overflowing genius of the stage that we celebrate with joyful cheers, we often forget that inside Goyo Jiménez—that is, inside me—lives a person, in other words, me. A simple person, moreover. Someone who contemplates the astonishing panorama of our times with the same wonder and bewilderment as most other people, but who offers ingenious and hilarious solutions that will help us look to the future with optimism. An empathetic person, who puts himself in others' shoes with the utmost humility, respecting and considering everyone equally, even those who are less fortunate. Who would be the majority. One of us, really. Someone like anyone else, like you or me. Well, not like me. Because I'm different. I mean, Goyo Jiménez, I'm talking about. Because there have always been social classes, my dear.
