The Botika Therapeutic Centre will exhibit an exhibition of artistic works represented by vulnerable groups at the Casa de Las Tejerinas.
The 'Visibles' exhibition comprises 24 photographs recreating iconic films and works of art of recognized cultural value. It will be open to the public from June 18th to July 1st.
The Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host an exhibition of artistic works represented by vulnerable groups from June 18th.
The exhibition is entitled 'Visibles', and consists of a total of 24 photographs of recreations of emblematic films, such as 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', 'The Godfather', 'Belle Epoque', 'The Girl of Your Dreams', 'Grease'…, and artistic works of recognized cultural value, such as 'The Mona Lisa', 'The Clothed Maja', 'The Last Supper', 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'..., and are part of the 2024 and 2025 solidarity calendars, respectively.
The Botika Association, based in Casares, was founded in April 2014 with the aim of improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups and all people in rural areas. It achieves this through two programs: health education for the entire population, and cognitive, functional, psycho-emotional, and social therapy for vulnerable groups at a Day Therapy Center.
The organization continuously develops various activities to raise awareness and foster social interaction among its members. Among these, the 'Solidarity Calendar' stands out. This activity, which has been carried out since 2018, has become one of the organization's most representative initiatives. Its creation involves recreating artistic and literary works, as well as original creations, generated by the professional team and supported by the invaluable collaboration of individuals, families, associations, and other partner organizations.
The main protagonists of the Solidarity Calendar are the users of the Therapeutic Center, who actively participate alongside the multidisciplinary team, becoming the central focus of the activity and contributing a high human, therapeutic and social value to the project.
In recent years, this initiative has acquired a prominent thematic character: in 2024 emblematic films were recreated, while in 2025 the focus was on recreating artistic works of recognized cultural value.
Through this activity, the Botika Association seeks to raise awareness of the groups it works with, highlighting the effort, creativity, and leadership of these individuals and the professional team that supports them. It also helps the Association raise funds for the development of its educational and therapeutic programs.
The exhibition can be visited until July 1st, Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, with free admission.
